The session is being organized as a part of the Alumni Association’s initiative to provide students and alumni with valuable industry exposure and opportunities to learn from the professional experiences of our accomplished alumni. The session will be delivered by our distinguished alumnus Mr. Dharmendra Pal, Deputy Branch Manager at Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd., Mechamical Engineering, Batch 2015–2019.

Alumni Talk on Banking Beyond Books: Inside the Real World of Banking & Building a Successful Banking Career
The Alumni Association of Vikrant University, Gwalior, has organized an insightful Alumni Talk on 10 October 2026 with Mr. Dharmendra Pal, Deputy Branch Manager at Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd., who is an alumnus of Vikrant University, Gwalior from the batch of 2015–2019.
The session was organized to help out the students to understand the real-world banking industry experience and learn how to build a successful career in the field of banking. Through the topic “Banking Beyond Books: Inside the Real World of Banking & Building a Successful Banking Career,” Mr. Dharmendra Pal shared his professional experiences with students and explained how the concepts learned in classrooms are applied in everyday banking operations and management.
During the session, he was discussed about the various aspects of banking, banking operations, including customer handling, financial services, teamwork, and branch management systems. He also explained the importance & seriousness of communication skills, professional ethics, problem-solving abilities, and customer satisfaction in building a successful career in the banking sector services.
Mr. Dharmendra Pal guided the undergraduates about the different pathway career opportunities in banking management, such as banking operations, relationship management, financial advisory, credit services, and branch management. He uplifts students to keep learning, stay connected with changing banking practices and digital technologies, and develop the Working knowledge required to succeed in the working world.
The session offered students an moment to learn directly from an knowledgeable skillful professional alumnus and gain a better understanding & perception of the challenges, and opportunities in the banking industry sector. It also strengthened the bond between the University, its alumni, and current students, highlighting how alumni experiences can guide and inspire the next generation.
The Alumni Association of Vikrant University, Gwalior continues to create opportunities for students to re-connect with successful alumni’s, gain practical knowledge, and receive valuable career guidance for their future.
