The Alumni Association, Vikrant University, Gwalior is pleased to announce an upcoming Online Alumni Talk on “Integrated Engineering Safety & Risk Management: A Multidisciplinary Approach to Industrial Systems”
The session is being organized as a part of the Alumni Association’s initiative to provide students and alumni with valuable industry exposure and opportunities to learn from the professional experiences of our accomplished alumni. The session will be delivered by our distinguished alumnus Mr. Raj Mohan Vaghela, Sr. Safety Officer, Nhava Sheva Freeport Terminal (NSFT), Fire Technology & Safety Engineering, Batch 2019–2023.
Join us for an insightful interaction to gain practical industry knowledge, understand multidisciplinary approaches to engineering safety and risk management, and strengthen the enduring bond between our alumni and the University.

Alumni Talk on Integrated Engineering Safety and Risk Management
The Alumni Association of Vikrant University, Gwalior has been successfully organized an insightful Alumni Talk with Mr. Raj Mohan Vaghela, Senior Safety Officer, Nhava Sheva Freeport Terminal (NSFT) and is proud alumnus of Vikrant University.
The session was organized for students of the Department of Fire Technology and Safety Engineering to focused on the theme “Integrated Engineering Safety & Risk Management: A Multidisciplinary Approach to Industrial Systems.”
Mr Raj Mohan Vaghela shared his corporate journey from being a Fire Safety Engineering student (2019–2023) to becoming a Senior Safety Officer at Nhava Sheva Freeport Terminal (NSFT). He guides to the students with his valuable insights of Industrial Safety Practices, Risk Assessment, Hierarchy of Controls, Incident Investigation, Engineering Controls, Root Cause Analysis, Legal Compliance and Safety Management.
He also discussed his career opportunities in Fire Protection Design, EHS, Emergency Response, Risk Compliance and Safety Consultancy. Emphasize the importance of continuous learning, practical exposure, communication skills and knowledge of the standards like NBC and NFPA, Mr. Raj Mohan Vaghela encouraged to the students to continuously develop their technical and his professional capabilities.
The session was provided an excellent platform for students to interact and engage with an experienced industrial professional and alumnus, build up the connection between the Vikrant University, alumni’s and current students. The Alumni Association of Vikrant University remains committed to facilitating such meaningful interactions for mentorship, career guidance, knowledge sharing, and professional development.
