Under the counsel and direction of Prof. America Singh, Chairman of the IEA Expect Council and Vice-Chancellor of Vikrant University, a formal meeting was held between members of the work force of the Indian Economic Association (IEA) and the Rajasthan Soft Hockey Association. During the meeting, the IEA personnels appreciated the Soft Hockey Association’s representatives by adorning them with ‘Uparna’.
The IEA representatives were present including Prof. A.K. Tomar, Dr. A.K. Asthana, Prof. Indu Varshney, along with national and international players such as Gajendra Singh Rathore, Ramesh Singh, Inderjeet Singh Shekhawat, as well as Dr. Kuldeep Singh Jhala and other dignified guest visitors.
Prof. America Singh, Vice-Chancellor of Vikrant University, signed an MOU with the Soft Hockey Federation. With the signing of this MOU, both institutes will team up to encourage the soft hockey sport and make provisions for the training facilities and amenities of players, and contribute together to progress the game.
Prof. America Singh addresses that, Vikrant University has always been passionate about encouraging sports, and this collaboration will break fresh ground for the university’s students and athletes. He also stated that this association of both the parties will play a significant role in lifting up the level of sports in Rajasthan.
During the meeting, the Rajasthan Soft Hockey Association shared about their precious thoughts to promote soft hockey and encourage the development of players in alliance with Vikrant University, Gwalior.
This gathering not only proved to be a noteworthy step in escalating joint effort in the discipline of sports but also proved to be a turning point in providing a way to the soft hockey sport
Amid their Jaipur visit, the IEA representatives also assess the groundwork for the 107th Indian Economic Association International Conference that was held from December 27 to 29 and acknowledge the scheme and arrangement made for this occasion.
