Celebrating the Spirit of Makar Sankranti at Vikrant University
The Makar Sankranti festival at Vikrant University was celebrated with enthusiasm and excitement, creating colour, happiness and display of joy on campus. All faculty and staff were joined in celebration of all cultures; creating an environment of love, friendship and a strong feeling of pride in each other’s respective culture. A Day Filled with Festive Energy and Togetherness
The activity took a major turn as everyone at the event was actively involved in several exciting activities. Many beautiful colourful kites were seen flying high in the bright blue sky representing hope for the future and for new beginnings. The excitement was greatly added to by the many and varied activities such as cricket, a tug of war, and a singing competition to name just a few. The whole campus was full of the sound of laughter and happiness with many people from across campus coming out of their departments to take part in different games and share many laughs and smiles with other participants.

Makar Sankranti is a celebration of giving thanks, being thankful for food abundance, as well as new beginnings. As the festivities came to end, everyone was filled with smiles and good spirits and felt a sense of community at the conclusion of Makar Sankranti Celebration in Vikrant University.
