A Manifestation of Blessings and a Spiritual Occasion
Vikrant University, Gwalior experienced an extremely sacred and exciting occasion when the University was graced with the auspicious presence of Param Pujya Junapeethadheeshwar Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Avdheshanand Giri Ji Maharaj. After 13 years, His Holiness again visited the University bringing the divine spiritual ambiance of love, compassion and devotion along with peace.
This auspicious occasion not only represented a spiritual occasion, but was also a special occasion to inspire all with wisdom, compassion, and moral strength to pursue success in education and life.
A Grand Welcome with Reverence and Devotion
The Hon’ble Chancellor Shri R.S. Rathore and members of the management board warmly welcomed Swami Avdheshanand Giri Ji Maharaj in a deep atmosphere of reverence. A traditional shawl, sacred coconut, and, Bhagavad Gita, along with an memento, was given to Swami Ji in a gesture of great homage and devotion.
Adding to the dignity and grandeur of the occasion, Hon’ble Shri Narendra Singh Tomar, the Speaker of the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly, came to seek blessings and embellish the day for the entire family of Vikrant University.
Words of Wisdom from the Hon’ble Chancellor
In his speech, Hon’ble Chancellor, Shri R. S. Rathore expressed great admiration for the spiritual and modest personality of Swami Avdheshanand Giri ji Maharaj, stating that Swami ji’s life represents the spirit of the Vedas, Upanishads, and Karma Yoga in the Bhagavad Gita.
He also said that to have such a spiritually illumined personality amongst all of us, here today at Vikrant University, will be a great blessing for our students as it provides a foundation for freely pursuing knowledge, humility, and righteous action in their lives and their careers.
Guidance and Blessings from Swami Ji
During his inspiring discourse, Swami Avdheshanand Giri Ji Maharaj interacted with students and the university fraternity, sharing valuable insights on the role of youth in building a spiritually strong and morally grounded nation.
He encouraged students to lead lives based on truth, service, and self-discipline, emphasizing that education attains true meaning only when it contributes to the upliftment of society. Swami Ji also appreciated the university’s “Vidyadaan Yojana”, a noble initiative that provides educational opportunities to underprivileged children, praising it as a true act of service and compassion.
Presence of Guests and Devotees
The auspicious occasion saw the presence of the University’s Patron, Smt. Meena Rathore, Treasurer, Smt. Gunjan Rathore, Pro-Chancellor Shri Vikrant Singh Rathore, and Registrar Smt. Richa Verma along with the Heads of Departments, faculty, and staff members.
Many devotees, followers in good faith, and members of many sections of society also gathered in order to pay their respects to Swami Ji and receive blessings. It was a time of spiritual energy, contemplation and thanks for the entire auditorium.
