A Landmark Collaboration for Leadership and Nation-Building
Vikrant University, Gwalior is glad to announce its collaboration with the National Cadet Corps Officers Training Academy (NCC OTA), Gwalior, India’s First and only Institution for training ladies NCC Officers. This collaboration is an important step towards leadership development, strengthening NCC training, and application of theories learnt in classrooms to the disciplines and services.
This initiative will enable NCC Officers to acquire the skills of a leader, inculcate discipline, and develop an attitude of service to the country. Young people are being empowered through training, academic programs.
This will help them become citizens and contribute to building our nation.
A ceremony graced by notable dignitaries
The MoU is signed by Dr. Richa Verma, Registrar, Vikrant University and Brigadier Vijayant Mahadik, Commandant, NCC Officers Training Academy, Gwalior representing National Cadet Corps of Ministry of Defence, Government of India.
The presence of Mr. Vikrant Singh Rathore, Pro-Chancellor of Vikrant University made the event spectacular yet significant this thing proves that we gather here today for a good purpose to create industrial collaborations for Students and Cadets.
Strengthening Training with Academia.
This collaborative effort aims to enhance the training of NCC by linking academics with exposure. Vikrant University has offered to design specialized programs for the officers of NCC in more than one phase focussing on their leadership development, discipline and professionalism.
The project strives to provide training so that the students are able to acquire skills which will assist them in making the right choices. They are able to learn to become responsible and learn to serve the nation.
Opportunities for skill development and certification.
This collaboration allows participants to obtain certification in Leadership and Capacity Building as per the collaboration after completing the same. Not just recognizing their effort, these certifications will also improve their professional profile by exhibiting their leadership skills, discipline and preparedness for future challenges.
The program includes hands-on training and experiential training for cadets to gain information through experience along with their academics.
