“Anubhuti 2024,” an initiative by the Forest Department of Gwalior, witnessed enthusiastic participation from 134 students and faculty members of Vikrant University. This initiative provided a unique opportunity for our university community to connect with nature and gain firsthand insights into the diverse habitats and ecosystems surrounding us.
Experiences and Learnings:
During the program, participants had the privilege of encountering native and migratory birds, immersing themselves in the rich biodiversity of medicinal plants and trees endemic to our region. The event facilitated meaningful interactions with nature, fostering a deeper appreciation for the environment and its inhabitants. Each student received a specially curated kit bag containing an informative booklet, enriching their knowledge about wildlife in Madhya Pradesh and essential information about important medicinal plants and trees.
Engaging Activities:
In addition to educational experiences, participants engaged in various enjoyable activities, including quizzes, painting competitions, and other fun-filled endeavors. Their active involvement and enthusiasm throughout the event were commendable, adding to the joy and excitement of the day.
