A Global Platform for Innovation, Research, and Sustainable Technology
On May 23rd and 24th, 2026, Vikrant University successfully held its first International Conference on Artificial Intelligence , Data Science , Cyber Security , and Smart Manufacturing for Sustainable Development . The conference was organised in a hybrid format, bringing together eminent academics, researchers, experts, innovators and scholars from all areas around the world to one outstanding academic platform.
This year’s conference was organised in conjunction with the IEEE Madhya Pradesh Section; under the sponsorship of the Madhya Pradesh Council of Science & Technology (MPCST); and with time and support of the International Society of Engineers. This conference also demonstrates Vikrant University’s strong commitment to international academic collaboration, educational success through innovation and significant research on emerging technologies.
A Grand Inauguration with Esteemed Dignitaries
The inaugural ceremony began two days of educational presentation about technology advancements, interdisciplinary research and sustainable development. In attendance as the Chief Guest was Dr Sanjeev Patjoshi IPS (Former Director General of Police, Fire & Rescue Services, and Kerala State Disaster Management Authority, Government Kerala).
The Guest of Honour was Dr Manish Dixit who is a Professor at MITS Gwalior and Vice Chair of IEEE M.P. Section. Dr Dixit also shared important insights about the increase in importance of artificial intelligence, cyber resilience, smart technologies and innovation-led sustainable development in the fast-moving world around us.
In addition to our distinguished guests, the following distinguished academic and subject-matter experts were present as part of the session chairs: Dr Priyanka Kaushik, Deputy Director, MICARC and NIET,NIMS University Jaipur; Prof Dr Ashish Kumar Singhal, Chair SAC, IEEE MP Section; Dr Saurabh Mukherjee, Professor, Banasthali Vidyapith, Jaipur; Dr Somesh Kumar, Assistant Professor, ABV-IIITM Gwalior; and Dr Rajeev Kumar Singh Assistant Professor MITS, Gwalior helped to improve the quality of education that was shared during the conference.
A Truly International Academic Gathering
ICADCS ’26 is a vibrant global community for sharing knowledge and collaborating on research. The conference had an overwhelming response with 1,343 entries from researchers and scholars around the world representing the USA, South Korea, Switzerland, Uzbekistan and the Philippines along with many other countries. All accepted papers were submitted for consideration through an extensive peer-review process and they were presented during different sessions both online and offline. There were multiple technical sessions and thematic tracks. The enthusiastic participation of scholars from all over the globe truly made this an international academic conference.
During this event, there were many opportunities for participants to share innovative ideas, discuss new challenges and examine future possibilities related to Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Cyber Security and Smart Manufacturing for Sustainable Development.
Inspiring Keynote Sessions and Expert Deliberations
The ICADCS 2026 conference presented many impressive keynote sessions led by distinguished scholars and specialists from around the world. For instance, Assoc. Professor Christian Poquiz Enoval of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines discussed his insights regarding international viewpoints in engineering leadership, intelligent systems and technology management. His keynote address inspired participants to think beyond traditional engineering practices; thus, helping to find creative technological solutions that lead toward sustainable development.
The expert sessions offered by Prof. Dr. Ashish Kumar Singhal, Dr. Priyanka Kaushik, and Dr. Somesh Kumar focused on unique and innovative research topics related to intelligent computing systems, challenges of cyber security, innovation derived through artificial intelligence, and future technological ecosystems.
Each of these sessions promoted opportunities for researchers, educators, practitioners, and students to interact with each other, engage in intellectual discussion, and learn collaboratively through experiential learning.
Dynamic Technical Sessions and Research Exchange
Participants were able to share research projects, discuss technical and procedural issues as well as participate in various kinds of expert to expert conversations throughout the course of two days.
During these two days, participants engaged in many ways with the opportunity to share new innovative ideas through each participant's own presentation of information relating directly to all participants attending; presented by each participant so others could contribute to those presentations through shared thoughts and collaborative discussion related to real world challenges facing researchers today and into the future.
The lively exchange of ideas and collaborative spirit exhibited during ICADCS 2026 is demonstrative of Vikrant University's purpose of fostering an environment of research culture; socio-technical innovation and building partnerships with global academic institutions/communities for mutual benefit.
Valedictory Ceremony Marks a Memorable Conclusion
The conference ended with a beautiful valedictory function on 24 May, 2026 to end the conference in a dignified and respectful manner. Dr. G. S. Tomar, IEEE M.P. Section Chairperson and Director of Machine Intelligence Research Labs in Gwalior, was the Chief Guest of the valedictory ceremony.
Dr. Sanjeev Patjoshi, IPS again participated as the Guest of Honour at the Valedictory Ceremony and encouraged all participants to continue their efforts in the area of sustainable technological advancement and social development through research and innovative ideas.
The Valedictory Ceremony was a moment to celebrate the success of ICADCS 2026 and to recognize all of the participants at the conference who contributed to this success, including keynote speakers, researchers, session chairs, reviewers, organising committee members, faculty members, volunteers and all of the technical teams who worked together to make ICADCS 2026 an extremely successful academic event.
