IKS Research & Innovation Center
Introduction
In 2026, the University launched the innovative IKS Research & Innovation Center under the auspices of The Indian Government’s Ministry of Education. Its purpose is to further develop and integrate traditional Indian intellectual traditions into contemporary frameworks of academia and research. The IKS Research & Innovation Centre aims to promote multidimensional research that includes traditional knowledge systems and practices based upon the very rich cultural and philosophical history of India.
The primary objective of the IKS Research & Innovation Centre is to research, preserve and disseminate traditional knowledge in all areas including Basic Sciences, Engineering & Technology, Psychology, Arts & Literature, Agriculture, and Management. By bridging the gap between traditional knowledge and modern scientific research, the IKS Research & Innovation Centre seeks to ensure that traditional methods of India are not merely preserved but transformed into a format capable of addressing the contemporary societal challenges faced by India today.
