Universal Human Values Centre

Introduction

Vikrant University Gwalior has established the Institutional Universal Human Values Centre, whose purpose is to promote and integrate Universal Human Values (UHV) into academic and non-academic settings as outlined by AICTE regarding effective delivery of UHV at all technical institutions. The establishment of the center reflects the increasing demand for value-oriented education within the engineering profession; the Institutional Universal Human Values Centre's purpose is also to find or develop ways of teaching human values in students and working professionals.

Furthermore, since its inception, the IUHVC has functioned as a resource center, conducting research and developing programs to reduce the distance between human values and technology. The center has developed a reputation for providing popular elective classes over time, including those that focus on exploring the "Inner Journey to Self-Discovery" emphasizing personal growth and holistic living.

Objectives

Provide regular training and orientation for faculty members in Universal Human Values (UHV).

Promote efficient planning, co-ordination and implementation of UHV courses, activities and initiatives.

Create an environment where there is an expectation of honesty, respect, social responsibility, harmony and sustainable living.

Organize workshops, seminars, awareness programs and other events to promote value based education and holistic development of both teachers and students.
