A Journey Designed to Turn Academic Learning into Real-World Experience
When learners comprehend the concepts and see how technologies work in real life they have a far better time with academic studying. In pursuance of this vision Vikrant University Gwalior in association with Vikrant Group of Institutions (VGI) Indore organized three days Educational and Industrial Tour to Bengaluru from 30th August to 1st September 2026.
The journey was initiated under the adage, “From Campus to Industry, From Classrooms to New Horizons.”
Day 1: Beginning with Space Science and New Perspectives
This adventure started at Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium, where students learned about astronomy and astrophysics through engaging exhibits, cosmic models, and space science simulators. The comprehension of topics such as planetary dynamics and orbital mechanics became easier as students could relate theory acquired in classrooms with experiential learning and scientific practices.
The day proceeded with the Alumni Meet 2026 – Bangalore Chapter, where the students got to meet Vikrant alumni who work in engineering, software, and managerial fields. The alumni were able to share their experiences and their understanding of the industry in order to help students about how the industry functions, and the future prospects awaiting for them.
Day 2: Stepping into India’s Space and Engineering Ecosystem
A noteworthy experience that came up was visiting the ISRO – U R Rao Satellite Centre (URSC). The students got first-hand experience of satellite building complexities from designing and manufacturing to working in a cleanroom and various ways of testing. It opened their eyes to what exactly goes into India’s space expeditions.
The adventure continued at the Visvesvaraya Industrial & Technological Museum (VITM), which provided a whole new experience of interactive exhibits which taught the students about engineering realities. From engine forming and global positioning to aerodynamics and planes, the students got a taste of the real-life science.
Day 3: Innovation, Cybersecurity and Academic Exchange
The final day brought together academic interactions along with emerging technologies. RV College of Engineering conducted sessions in which students discussed aspects of student innovation, research and development, and technology entrepreneurship. These interactions inspired the students to move beyond academics and think about useful solutions.
Then, they visited the corporate technology environment at eMudhra Digital Campus where they got to know about topics like digital identity management, Public key infrastructure (PKI), data encryption and the changing cybersecurity practices. This exposure is vital for students preparing to confront technology challenges, as it allows them to understand how security and digital trust function within the corporate environment.
Learning, Networking and Experiencing Bengaluru
The trip proved to be a very enriching experience for students, as apart from their technical learning, they were able to understand about Bengaluru as a city where technology, education, industry and culture meet. The trip wrapped up with a city tour and a visit to ISKCON Temple in Bengaluru, which added a very important cultural component to their mainly technical educational visit.
More Than an Educational Visit
The trip to Bengaluru offered the students a lot more than just a new learning environment. It provided them with exposure to areas such as aerospace engineering, satellite engineering, cyber security, digital technologies, academic research, entrepreneurship and interactions with different industries, which helped the students realize emerging fields of employment and understand what to expect as professionals in their fields after graduation.
Such experience motivates students to ask better questions, integrate theory and practice and define a more educated vision of their professional future.

The three-day tour is over but the acquired knowledge will remain with students thanks to all experiences, discussions and opinions they will share. The Bengaluru educational tour was a special experience for Vikrant University as it provided students with the chance to learn about the universe from the point of view of space science, as well as cyber security and digital identity..
