Vikrant University, Gwalior proudly presented Indian Innovation at 1st AUAP – WURI Impact Summit 2026 held from 9-10 July 2026 at Bangkok, Thailand. The university was represented by Hon'ble Chancellor Shri Rakesh Singh Rathore at this international gathering where renowned academicians, university leaders, policymakers and innovators from all over the world met to discuss the future of higher education.
This event was held by the Association of Universities of Asia and the Pacific (AUAP) in partnership with the World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI) and AI-STAT, Republic of Korea. The theme of the summit was "University Innovation in Partnership with Government: Policy, Mechanism, and Impact". The event was a valuable platform for universities to share ideas, establish global partnerships and find innovative solutions to education and sustainable development.
The Opening Remarks were delivered by the venerable speaker Shri Rakesh Singh Rathore who spoke on the future of education from the perspective of Vikrant University. His address reflected the timeless values of the Indian Knowledge System (IKS) and how it can work with innovation, technology, sustainability and collaboration to create a legacy, His insightful and flawless speech set an inspiring tone for the summit and was appreciated by the international audience.
He also presented “Campus to Community: A Living Sustainability Model Driving SDG Impact” during the summit which showcased how Vikrant University is linking education with real-world challenges. The university provides opportunities for students and makes a positive contribution to society through research, community engagement, innovation and environmentally friendly practices.
The summit also created new opportunities for international collaboration, academic partnerships and knowledge sharing. It enabled Vikrant University to showcase its innovative initiatives to the leading institutions across the globe and learn from the best practices across the world.
